Plasma Air 7000

The Plasma Air 7000 Series are needlepoint type ionizers producing a balance of positive and negative ions. With a maximum CFM of 6,000 wit the 7401 model (models include 7200 – 2,800 cfm, 7300 – 4,200 cfm, and 7400 – 6,000 cfm). The operating voltage of this unit is 24V AC. The unit can be installed in metal duct utilizing the pre-drilled flange and factory applied gaskets. Then, your contractor cuts out the template in the duct, making a hole for the 7000 to be mounted in. Next, they secure the unit with self tapping sheet metal screws.

Easy Installation

When completely installed, the ionization output protrudes 1½” inches into the duct to clear any duct liner and insulation. The Plasma Air 7000 unit can also be installed inside an AHU HVAC unit utilizing a contractor supplied mounting bracket. The ionization needles on the 7000 are recessed to avoid electric shock, dust buildup and premature failure. The ionization unit can directly accept power from the 24V AC fan control circuit.
